Caffeine Trail

Shop and sip! Sounds like a good plan for this year’s “Carmel Caffeine Trail.” Its official launch is at THIS SATURDAY’S Gallery Walk in the Carmel Arts & Design District, featuring a free, live “cupping” and several local shops dishing out free samples throughout the District. The Caffeine Trail is all about promoting Carmel’s great coffee shops, tea shops and cafes that take coffee seriously.

All the dozen or so locations on the Trail offer a barista or the ability to operate like a barista – making espressos, lattes, locally roasted beans like Hubbard & Cravens or great small batch coffees from great roasters across the US. And if you’re from out of town? Even better! Consider coming to see a show at the Palladium, where you can find an excellent cup of coffee or tea while you are here! As a bonus – you will also find great treats to go with your cups – from donuts to muffins, scones to gourmet egg dishes. Caffeine Trail – like the wine trails in California, and the bourbon trails in Kentucky – is just one more reason to visit, stay and play in Carmel!
