Samsung
It's widely expected that Samsung will unveil its Galaxy S7 this February during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and that means that the rumors are starting to stream in. A photo posted online purportedly shows the full specifications for one of the handful of variants that Samsung appears to have on the way.
If the photo is accurate, the device in question could be the replacement for the S6 Edge+ (pictured above). This new phone appears to have the same 5.7-inch, 2560x1440 display as the S6 Edge+, though it's unclear if the device pictured has a curved or flat display.
It seems Samsung will offer the Galaxy S7 in multiple sizes
The last set of rumors, from South Korea's ET News, claimed that the standard S7 would have a flat 5.2-inch screen, while the Edge variant used a 5.5-inch curved display. A different rumor corroborates the photo released this weekend — it called for a 5.7-inch S7 model. Samsung's current lineup, for reference, uses a 5.1-inch screen in the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, and a 5.7-inch screen in the S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5.

Rounding out the leaked specifications are a 12.2-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. That represents a drop in megapixel count from the S6, which has a 16-megapixel sensor, but it's possible that it's a higher-quality sensor with larger pixels that perform better in the dark. The device is also said to have 4GB of RAM and it's all powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chip.
As for other features, all we have to go off of so far is The Wall Street Journal's report from earlier this year, which said that the S7 would look similar to the S6 before it. The report also said the device will have a pressure-sensitive screen, a USB Type-C port, and, possibly, a retina scanner.
